Eligibility Criteria for the Indian Coast Guard
Age Limit
Candidates must be born between 01 July 2000 and 30 June 2004, inclusive of both dates.
- General Duty (GD): 21 to 25 years
- Technical (Engineering/Electrical/Electronics): 21 to 25 years

Educational Qualification
- General Duty (GD):
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Candidates must have studied Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Class 12.
- Technical (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics):
- Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related disciplines with at least 60% aggregate marks.
Medical Standards
