Ans. Yes, unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply. However, it is mandatory that they do not become pregnant during the engagement period. In case of pregnancy during the service tenure, the engagement is liable to be terminated as per the rules of the Agnipath Scheme and Indian Air Force guidelines.

They can make up to 3 attempts for these examinations while in service, giving them an opportunity to join the armed forces in a permanent commissioned role, based on merit and selection criteria.
