Application Process:

• Mode: Online via the RRB regional websites
• Fee:
  • General/OBC: Rs. 500 (with Rs. 400 refundable after appearing for CBT)
  • SC/ST/PWD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 250 (fully refundable)

Salary:

• Undergraduate Posts: Starting from Rs. 19,900 (Level-2) to Rs. 21,700 (Level-3)
• Graduate Posts: Starting from Rs. 29,200 (Level-5) to Rs. 35,400 (Level-6)

To apply online for RRB NTPC 2024, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Official Website:
   Go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) for your respective region. For example, the central website is www.rrbcdg.gov.in.
2. Find the RRB NTPC 2024 Recruitment Section:
   Look for the “RRB NTPC 2024 Recruitment Notification” on the homepage. The notification will have all the details like eligibility, dates, and application instructions.
3. Register for RRB NTPC 2024:
   • Click on the Apply Now link under the NTPC recruitment section.
   • You will be redirected to a new page for registration.
   • Enter your basic information like name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number to register.
   • After registration, you will receive a Registration ID and Password on your email and mobile number.
4. Login to Fill the Application Form:
   • Use your Registration ID and Password to log in.
   • Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information as per the instructions.
5. Upload Documents:
   • Upload a scanned photograph (passport-size) and signature as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.
   • If applicable, upload scanned copies of your category certificates, educational certificates, etc.
6. Pay the Application Fee:
   • Choose an online payment method (credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.) to pay the fee.
   • Fee details:
     • For GEN/OBC: Rs. 500 (Rs. 400 refunded after appearing for CBT 1)
     • For SC/ST/PWD/Women/Ex-Sm/Minorities/Economically Backward: Rs. 250 (refunded after CBT 1)
7. Review and Submit:
   • Review all the details carefully before submitting the application.
   • After verifying, click on Submit.
8. Save the Confirmation:
   • After submitting the application, download and save a copy of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.
9. Wait for Admit Card:
   • Keep checking the RRB website for updates on your application status and the release of the Admit Card.

Make sure to submit the application before the deadline:

• Graduate Posts: Last date is 13th October 2024.
• Undergraduate Posts: Last date is 20th October 2024.

Preparation:

Past exam analyses suggest that questions for General Awareness are primarily from Current Affairs, Science, and History, while the Mathematics section focuses on basic arithmetic, percentages, time & distance, etc. Reasoning generally covers puzzles, seating arrangements, and analogy.
