North Eastern Railway Gateman Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:

• The selected candidates will be medically examined in the Railway Hospital and if found suitable in A-3 medical category, they will be given appointment.
• Basis of Selection Candidates will be selected on the basis of their period of military service.
• Candidates can be called for document verification at any time after the last date of application at very short notice. The date, time and place of reporting for document verification will be published on the website of North Eastern Railway / website of the concerned division.
• Candidates may kindly report the following documents in original and one photocopy of the same for document verification on the prescribed date, time and place.
• Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Document Verification and Medical Test

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories:

1. UR – 40%
2. EWS – 40%
3. OBC (Non-creamy) – 30%
4. SC – 30%
5. ST – 30%

Note: This percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of a shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them
