BHEL Recruitment 2025: 515 Artisan Posts Notification Out, Apply Now
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has released the official notification for BHEL Recruitment 2025 to fill a total of 515 Artisan Grade-IV posts across various manufacturing units. This recruitment is being conducted for different trades such as Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, and Foundryman. Interested candidates must possess an ITI (NTC) and NAC in the relevant trade from a recognized institute with the required minimum marks. All the posts are located at various BHEL plants including Haridwar, Bhopal, Trichy, Hyderabad, Ranipet, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, and Jhansi.
The selection process will be completed in two stages – Computer Based Examination (CBE) followed by a Skill Test and Document Verification. Selected candidates will initially be appointed on a temporary basis for one year, after which, based on satisfactory performance, they will be regularly appointed to the post of Artisan Grade-IV.

Age Limit – BHEL Recruitment Notification
- General / EWS: Maximum Age Limit 27 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Maximum Age Limit 30 Years
- SC / ST: Maximum Age Limit 32 Years
- Candidates with relevant work experience are eligible for an additional age relaxation of up to 7 years
- PwD / Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation will be provided as per the Government of India norms

Selection Process – BHEL Recruitment 2025

| Stage I | Computer Based Examination (CBE) – Trade-based exam of 100 marks – Minimum qualifying marks: • UR/EWS: 30 marks • OBC/SC/ST: 22.5 marks – Shortlisting in the ratio of 1:5 based on merit |
| Stage II | Skill Test & Document Verification – Only for shortlisted candidates – Document verification is mandatory – Skill Test will be of qualifying nature only |
| Final Merit | The final merit list will be prepared based solely on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Examination (CBE). |
| Special Provisions | The Best Apprentice / Runner-Up Apprentice will be exempted from the Computer Based Examination (CBE) and will be directly eligible for the Skill Test. – Upon selection, the Best Apprentice will be appointed with two additional salary increments. |
