Eligibility Criteria :

1. the candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a Permanent resident of Assam
2. The candidate must Produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/voter ID/Employment exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency with the application.

Educational Qualification :

1. Only a graduate ln Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university . (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed) will be acceptable.
2. A degree/diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an institute recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) or at least 3 years experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity in a Newspaper/News/Public Relations 0rganization/Government Public Relations Department,
3. A good command over English.
4. Knowledge of Assamese language or any other regional language or local language of the state.
5. Knowledge of Computer Application & The candidates must have a min. of 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a Govt recognized institute.

Age Limit :

• Minimum 21 years of age and should not be more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2023.
• The upper age limit is relaxable.

1. Five years relaxation for SC/STP/STH candidates upto 43 years of age.
2. Three years for OBC/MOBC candidates upto 41 years of age .
